Rose Monique Smith, a Connecticut native, has a strong passion for working women and helping them to let their inner and outer beauty radiate.

Rose has over 14 years of experience in the makeup artistry industry. She started as an Independent Consultant with Mary Kay and quickly realized she loved helping women feel “even more beautiful”. From 2006 to 2014 Rose focused on using her talent by giving back to the community. She offered her services at various events to help young ladies and women look and feel beautiful.

During a difficult time in her life, Rose made the necessary sacrifices to travel to Utica, NY to be in a close friend’s wedding and provide her makeup services. It was during that weekend that her friend reiterated how talented she was and how she immediately needed to start her business. Rose was reluctant, as she only wanted to do it to help people. However, after receiving additional compliments and words of encouragement to start her business from others that evening she returned to Charlotte and prayed for God to lead her in the right direction. Her prayers were answered and she was proud to announce the 2014 launch of her new Make-up Artistry business where she offers services for brides, wedding parties, proms, birthdays, photo-shoots, fashion shows and more.

In March of 2020, during a worldwide pandemic Rose began making customized masks for her family and friends who were essential workers. Rose used her small sewing machine from her college years (2001). She began receiving numerous orders and decided to invest in a more efficient sewing machine. Rose began her business helping others yet again, but it turned into a business venture. She is now selling t-shirts, aprons, masks, and much more. She is passionate about everything she does.
